Staging build

A roofing site where the conversion sits above the fold

Commercial roofing · Sarasota, Florida

Commercial roofing enquiries are high value and low frequency. That changes the design brief: the job is not to be browsed, it is to convert the visitor who arrives with a leaking roof and a budget.

Conversion-first layout

The free roof inspection form is embedded directly in the hero, beside the headline rather than below the fold or behind a button. It carries a service-type selector, so the enquiry arrives already qualified — inspection, repair, restoration or replacement — along with the building address.

The supporting copy does the reassurance work that commercial buyers actually need: owner-direct, honest inspection, repair before replacement, and restoration systems that extend roof life at a fraction of replacement cost.

Structure

Beyond the hero, the site is organised around the questions a commercial building owner asks before they call anyone:

  • Services — repair, restoration and replacement, kept distinct rather than blurred
  • Warranty — a dedicated section, because warranty terms are a genuine decision factor at this value
  • Service areas — Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Venice
  • Gallery and blog — proof of work and supporting content

Technical build

  • WordPress on Elementor over Hello Elementor, with Contact Form 7 handling submissions
  • 14 JavaScript and 28 CSS files on the homepage — a restrained stack for a site of this size
  • 13 of 29 images served as WebP, with 16 lazy-loaded
  • Explicit local schema: RoofingContractor, Person, Organization, WebSite, WebPage and Article
  • Titles and descriptions written around Sarasota commercial roofing intent rather than generic roofing terms

A note on where this lives

This is a development project on staging infrastructure, not a live client domain. It is labelled that way on purpose — the build is the evidence, and misrepresenting a staging URL as a live client site is not worth the credibility.
