AI Automation Services

Most marketing teams do not have a strategy problem. They have a capacity problem: the same report rebuilt every month, the same enquiry re-typed into a CRM, the same brief written from scratch, the same follow-up email that never got sent. AI is genuinely good at that layer — the repeatable work surrounding the thinking, not the thinking itself.

I build automations that remove hours from a marketing week without putting your brand, your data or your search visibility at risk. That means I will automate your reporting and your lead routing enthusiastically, and I will push back hard on automating your content wholesale.

Where AI automation actually pays off

SEO and marketing reporting

Search Console, Analytics, rank tracking and Business Profile insights pulled into one dashboard that updates itself, with plain-language commentary on what changed. Replaces the monthly ritual of exporting four CSVs and rebuilding the same slide.

Lead capture, routing and follow-up

Form submissions and profile messages enriched, deduplicated, routed to the right person and acknowledged within minutes instead of days. Speed of first response is one of the highest-leverage variables in lead conversion, and it is almost entirely an automation problem.

Content research and briefing

Keyword clustering, SERP analysis, competitor content gap extraction and structured brief generation. The output is a brief a human writes from — not a finished article. This is where AI saves the most time with the least risk.

Site and visibility monitoring

Automated alerts for indexation drops, broken links, 404 spikes, Core Web Vitals regressions, uptime failures, review activity and lost rankings. Problems surface the day they happen rather than the month you next look.

Internal linking and content audits at scale

Programmatic identification of orphan pages, thin content, keyword cannibalisation and internal-link opportunities across hundreds of URLs — the kind of analysis nobody does manually because it is too slow.

Repetitive production work

Bulk metadata drafting for review, image alt-text drafting, schema generation, transcript and summary production, data cleaning and spreadsheet reconciliation.

AEO and GEO monitoring

Tracking whether your brand and pages get cited in AI answers, and where competitors are being cited instead. A new discipline, and one where the measurement problem is currently harder than the optimisation problem.

Where I will tell you not to automate

  • Publishing unreviewed AI content. It is the fastest way to accumulate pages that neither rank nor convert, and it damages the credibility of everything else on the domain.
  • Review responses and customer replies, unsupervised. Draft with AI, send with a human. One tone-deaf automated reply to a complaint costs more than the time it saved.
  • Strategy and prioritisation. Deciding what matters requires context about your business that no model has.
  • Anything touching sensitive customer data without a clear look at where that data goes and who can see it.

How an automation engagement runs

Map the week.

What tasks get repeated, how often, by whom, and how long each takes. You cannot justify automation without knowing what it replaces.

Score by value and risk.

High-frequency, low-judgement, low-risk tasks first. Judgement-heavy work stays human, possibly with an AI-assisted draft step.

Build the smallest version that works.

One workflow, running reliably, beats an ambitious system that nobody trusts.

Keep a human in the loop where it matters.

Anything customer-facing or published gets a review step by design.

Document and hand over.

You should be able to run, pause and modify every workflow without me. Automations that only one person understands are liabilities.

Tooling

I am deliberately tool-agnostic and prefer whatever fits your existing stack — spreadsheet and script-based workflows, no-code and low-code automation platforms, native integrations in the tools you already pay for, and LLM APIs where a genuine language task is involved. The right answer is frequently the boring one you already own rather than a new subscription.

Who this is for

This pairs well with Websites & development, since automation is most valuable once you know which activities actually deserve to be repeated.

  • Small marketing teams and solo marketers losing days to reporting and admin
  • Agencies wanting to deliver more clients per head without dropping quality
  • Business owners who are the marketing department and have no hours left
  • Teams that have tried AI, produced something embarrassing, and want it done with judgement this time

AI automation FAQs

What is AI automation in marketing?

Using AI and workflow automation to handle the repeatable parts of marketing: pulling and summarising reports, routing and following up leads, researching and briefing content, monitoring a site for problems, and running analysis across large numbers of pages. The judgement stays with people; the repetition moves to software.

Will you use AI to write my blog content?

I use AI for research, clustering, outlining and drafting support, and a human writes and edits what gets published. Unreviewed AI content is cheap to produce and expensive to own — it rarely earns rankings and it damages trust in the rest of your site.

What tools do you use?

Whatever fits your existing stack rather than whatever I have a preference for. That includes no-code and low-code automation platforms, native integrations in tools you already pay for, script-based workflows, and LLM APIs where there is a real language task. Frequently the best answer is something you are already subscribed to.

How much time can automation realistically save?

It depends entirely on how much repetition exists today. Reporting and lead follow-up are usually the largest single wins because they recur constantly. Rather than quoting a percentage, I map your current week first — the honest answer only exists after that.

Is automated content a risk to my SEO?

Publishing bulk unreviewed AI content is a real risk, both to rankings and to reader trust. Using AI to research, cluster and brief content that a human then writes is not. The distinction is whether a person is accountable for what goes live.

Can you automate reporting from Search Console and Analytics?

Yes, and it is usually the first thing worth building. Both have APIs, so a self-updating dashboard with plain-language commentary can replace the recurring manual export-and-rebuild cycle entirely.

What happens if an automation breaks after the project ends?

Every workflow is documented and handed over so your team can run, pause and modify it. I build the simplest version that works precisely so it is maintainable without me.
