The architecture

54 indexable URLs, split across three deliberate groups:

• 12 location pages — Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Dana Point, Corona del Mar, Huntington Beach, Orange County, Los Angeles, La Jolla and San Diego among them. Wedding search is overwhelmingly geographic, and each market gets its own page rather than a mention in a list.
• 8 service pages — weddings, engagements, proposals, family portraits, maternity, videography, photo booth and pricing
• 28 individual client galleries — each real wedding published on its own URL, which is both genuine proof and a large amount of naturally long-tail content

Rank Math runs the SEO layer with its local module active, producing a dedicated local sitemap alongside the page, post and category sitemaps.

Design and media

The site leads with the work: a full-bleed gallery slider, generous imagery and a restrained serif and sans pairing that stays out of the photography’s way. Vimeo handles video so the site is not carrying its own encoding weight.

The team is given real estate too — individual pages for each photographer — which matters for a studio selling on personal rapport rather than a faceless brand.

Performance

The build runs Optimization Detective, which measures real visitor behaviour to improve image loading and largest-contentful-paint delivery. On an image-led photography site, LCP is the user experience — the hero photograph is the page.

Conversion path

Pricing is a published page rather than a gated enquiry, which filters out mismatched budgets before they reach the inbox. From there the path is short: a single contact form, reachable from every service and location page.
