I am John Kevin Genon — a digital marketing and technical SEO specialist. I help small businesses, professional-services firms and marketing agencies turn a website into something that actually brings in enquiries, using technical SEO, local SEO, content built around real search intent, websites I design and build myself in WordPress, and automation that removes the busywork.
This page exists so you can decide whether I am the right person to hire before you ever send a message. No inflated numbers, no borrowed case studies — just what I do, how I work, and the evidence behind it.

Most engagements start the same way: someone has been paying for SEO for months and cannot tell you what actually changed. I fix that by diagnosing properly, explaining plainly, and then doing the work myself — in WordPress, in Search Console, on the Business Profile.
They are not slogans. They are the order I actually do things in.
Every engagement starts with a real audit: crawl the site, read the Search Console data, look at what competitors are actually ranking for, and find the constraint. I would rather tell you the boring fix that works than sell you the exciting one that does not.
Technical health, indexation and internal linking come before content volume. Publishing thirty articles on a site Google cannot crawl properly is expensive nothing.
Keyword research tells me what people want; the page has to answer it better than what currently ranks. That is also what survives algorithm updates and gets cited by AI answer engines.
Reporting, monitoring, internal-link audits, content briefs, lead routing. Anything done the same way twice is a candidate for automation — that is where AI genuinely earns its place.
You get to see what moved and what did not. If something is not working, you hear it from me first.
Most engagements combine two or three of these. Each links through to the detail.
Crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals and structured data.

I trained as a Computer Engineer before moving into marketing, and that order still shapes how I work: understand how the system behaves, then form an opinion about the strategy. The courses below back up the strategy side of it.
